By converting electrical signals from 10Base-T/100Base-TX twisted pairs to optical signals of 100Base-FX, it extends the network's transmission distance from 100m through copper cable to an impressive 120 km via fiber optic cables.
Not only does the LNK-1100 support multi-mode dual fiber transmission, but it also has the ability to transmit in single mode dual fiber and single mode single fiber. This makes it a versatile option for various network setups and expansions.
